GetWork Construction is a website that allows Employers to connect with Job Seekers “Candidates” looking for Construction Jobs in the Construction Industry. The term “Candidate” refers to users registered with GetWork Construction, seeking employment opportunities with Companies registered through GetWork Construction. The term “Employer” will refer to any company or organisation registered with GetWork Construction and interested in recruiting Candidates through GetWork Construction website. If GetWork Construction chooses a Candidate to participate, they will be placed on the website listing and they will remain on the listing for such a time as determined by GetWork Construction as per the conditions shown, (not all applicants will be accepted as Candidates). Each week Employers registered with GetWork Construction will be sent the listing of successful Candidates. Employers may choose to interview Candidates from the listing and continue with their recruitment process as required. There is no charge for use of this website facility to Employers for the first 12 months, thereafter, fees will be applied (to be confirmed. There is no charge to Candidates
In order to register as a Candidate with GetWork Construction, you must first create an account or login. When applying, we will require the following information; your name, address, telephone number, email address, your skill sets, and your salary requirements. GetWork Construction reserve the right, to accept or reject your application as a registered Candidate based on the information that you provide us, (sometimes we also use third party agencies to review your application). If you are a successful applicant, we will notify you via email and you will have the opportunity to block your profile from certain Employers if required. Once you have been accepted, a member of our recruitment team may contact you to finalise your Candidate profile. Once a Candidate has applied and been accepted to GetWork Construction, they will be entered onto the listing to be viewed by Employers, who will have the opportunity to engage with Candidates on the listing.
As a Candidate you may be contacted either by telephone or email directly by employers informing you of their interest, whilst also providing details about the available position. You may respond, but be aware that, should an employer contact you showing interest and possibly request that you attend an interview, GetWork Construction cannot guarantee a final job or job offer, or any job offer at any particular salary. GetWork Construction have no input into the Employers selection process.
GetWork Construction may remove any candidate on the listing at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion, in such a case, the Candidate must re-apply for consideration to be re-entered onto the listing. Successful re-application is at GetWork Constructions’ sole discretion, not all re-applications will be considered. GetWork Construction will not be responsible or liable for content, accuracy of details, material or any information submitted by a Candidate to any potential Employer or any third party or parties.
In order to register as an Employer with GetWork Construction, you must also first create an account or login.
- When applying we will require the following information relating to your company, including, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, company URL and your company activities.
- GetWork Construction reserve the right, to accept or reject your application as a registered Employer based on the information that you provide us, (sometimes we also use third party agencies to review your application). If your application is accepted, we will notify you via email, you will then be allowed to use the GetWork
- Construction website to contact and engage with the available registered Candidates listed on the GetWork Construction website.
- Following a successful application, the Employer will be able to use the GetWork Construction website listing to search for, contact and engage with Candidates, and to submit interview requests.
- There will be no charge for this facility for the first 12 months following registration, after 12 months, fees will apply, (fees to be published)
- If an Employer hires a Candidate through GetWork Construction, the Employer is required to report this hire to GetWork Construction. After initial contact, the Employer and the Candidate may use other means of communication during the hiring process.
- No contractual obligations are formed for either the Candidate or the Employer through GetWork Construction.
- The Candidate is not obligated to accept any offer made to the Candidate from an Employer that contacts them through GetWork Construction. In addition, any offers of interviews submitted by an Employer to a Candidate via GetWork Construction are not binding on the Employer.
- The Employer agrees that GetWork Construction is entitled to publish the details of all non-binding offers made and the identity of those parties that have made such offers.
- GetWork Construction does not act as an employment agent, it merely provides a method of connecting Candidates and Employers in the Construction Industry to each other.
- Candidates and Employers are solely responsible for the information provided in any Curriculum Vitae (CV) or profiles and requests for interviews or offers made, or any issues arising from an acceptance (or denial) of employment, and any other issues arising from the use of GetWork Construction website.
- GetWork Construction does not inquire into the backgrounds of its Candidates or Employers and no attempts are made to verify the statements of its Candidates or Employers by GetWork Construction. The Employer and the Candidate will both be responsible for conducting background and reference checks, and any other due diligence necessary before making an offer of employment to a Candidate or accepting an offer of employment from an Employer.
- Both Employer and Candidate will comply with all UK employment, consumer credit and data protection laws and regulations. GetWork Construction will not be party to, or liable for any agreements or disagreements, costs or damages between the Employer and Candidate, regardless of any fees received from either party in connection with the transaction.
When registering your information on GetWork Construction website, you are reminded;
- You agree not to submit any material that is false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, offensive, abusive, likely to cause someone anxiety or distress, encourages violence or racial or religious hatred, blasphemous, pornographic, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy.
- You agree not to submit, use or distribute information that infringes intellectual property rights, i.e. Trademarks or copyright, without full permission from the owners of such intellectual property. Also not to submit material or information likely to be technically harmful (including, computer software viruses, corrupted data, harmful components and/or any malicious software) You agree not to encourage criminal conduct, likely to give rise to civil liability, or any conduct otherwise unlawful under International Law.
- GetWork Construction may remove from the site, services and any material submitted by you at our sole discretion. GetWork Construction may disclose to the respective Law enforcement authorities, the identities of anyone submitting offensive or unlawful materials.
- These General Terms are governed by English law, English courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim brought by you arising from, or related to, use of the website and services provided by GetWork Construction and these General Terms.
By creating an account or login with GetWork Construction, you agree;
- To keep all information obtained from GetWork Construction confidential including any content submitted by Candidates in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
- You may not disclose names, address, telephone, email or ANY contact details or identities or share the profile of any Candidates to any third parties.
- You will take appropriate administrative measures to protect any content you obtain through use of GetWork Construction website from any loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
- You will also agree not to post, publicly disclose or re-distribute any job offers which you become aware of from GetWork Construction.
- You agree that by using GetWork Construction, we may call you on the telephone number/s provided, including mobile phone numbers. GetWork Construction also provides e-mail proxy and relay tools to the users of GetWork Construction and that GetWork Construction may monitor, review, store and analyze your content (including your profile, applications, communications and responses) to provide you with personally relevant product features, prevent fraud, reduce unwanted mail, and provide quality control.
- The Employer agrees that GetWork Construction is entitled to publish details of all non-binding offers made and the identity of those parties that have made such offers.
