JOBS BOOST Over 200 construction jobs set for Dublin on €24m office block

SOME 210 construction jobs will be created as building has gets underway on a €24 million office block in Dublin in the coming weeks.

Park Developments Group has started construction on the 60,000 square foot office buildings at the The Park, Carrickmines in South Dublin.

The Hampstead Building will be the first new building to be delivered at the office and retail park with an occupier being sought with a quote of €29.50 per square foot. The new offices will be the latest addition to the Iveagh, Hyde and Herbert Buildings which house companies such as Vodafone, Getty Images and SIRO.

Speaking about the new buildings, David O’Malley of Office Associate letting agents Savills Ireland said: “We have had great success with the letting of suites in The Hyde & Herbert Buildings in recent times resulting in virtually no vacancy within The Park. “The Hampstead is being built to the highest design and specification standards and will be by one of few LEED Gold buildings in the suburbs.

“The flexibility of the space which allows for lettings from 6,000 – 60,000 sq. feet combined with the specification and highly accessible location will ensure strong demand.”
